Action for Children is committed to helping the most vulnerable children and young people in the UK break through injustice, deprivation and inequality, so they can achieve their full potential.
Many of the children we support are on the edge of, in, or leaving the care system. Over 80,000 children a year spend time in care, and this can affect their whole future: children in care are more likely to have a mental health problem, to leave school with poor qualifications or to become homeless.
Action for Children believes they all children have unique potential and that they should have the support and opportunities they need to reach it. Your donation can help make this possible, by helping us to find more people to care for vulnerable children who need a loving home, and to give young people leaving care the support they need to overcome the odds stacked against them.
For every pound you donate, Barclays will match your donation up to a maximum of £50,000, so your support will have double the impact. This money won’t just help a child now, it will give them the chance of a better future.
