British Airways deals with Payroll Giving in a Deal No Deal way

British Airways has an impressive community investment programme, an extension to this programme was the introduction of a Deal or No Deal Payroll Giving initiative, supported by Charities Trust.

200x200_fitbox-p1050914.jpg Payroll Giving within British Airways has been established for many years.  In 2009, Charities Trust has helped British Airways in increasing Payroll Giving donors by bringing a new innovative way for employees to sign up to Payroll Giving.

During the recent British Airways Communities and Conservation Open Day, Charities Trust created an innovative new Payroll Giving initiative, which engaged with employees to take part in a game similar to Deal or No Deal.  Employees playing the game either won a prize or donation to the charity of their choice.  But the Deal did not stop there...

14 Employees who signed up to Payroll Giving or wished to sign up to Payroll Giving, Giving the Xtra Factor, won between £10 to £1000, which was placed in a Charities Trust Freedom Account, so the winner had the flexibility of donating the money to their favourite charity(ies).

Chico, from the XFactor, joined the Charities Trust stand and helped promote to staff the benefit of giving to charity in one of the most tax effective ways via Payroll Giving.

The promotion was a huge success, and Charities Trust looks forward to working with British Airways to continue promoting to employees the benefit of giving to charity through Payroll Giving.
