Payroll Giving Quality Mark
The Payroll Giving Quality Mark promotes and celebrates the commitment of companies who offer Payroll Giving to their employees.
As an on going commitment to tax effective giving the Office of the Third Sector together with the Institute of Fundraising, launched the "Payroll Giving Quality Mark" scheme to recognise the commitment of private and public organisations who offer the opportunity to employees to donate to charities tax effectively.
The Payroll Giving Quality Mark falls into four categories;
- Gold – This is awarded to employers who have 10% or more of its employees giving through Payroll Giving, plus the company either matches the employees’ donations, pays the administration or actively promoting Payroll Giving in the workplace in the past year.
- Silver recognises that employers have a 5 to 9.99% participation level in Payroll Giving
-
Bronze is awarded to companies who have 1 to 4.99% of employees donating through Payroll Giving
-
Generic – A generic certificate is awarded to companies who have a Payroll Giving scheme in place but have less than 1% uptake, which could possibly be due to only recently launching a Payroll Giving scheme in the workplace.
Charities Trust proactively works with its clients to assist in promoting the scheme to employees in the best possible way. With Charities Trust's support many of our clients have achieved fantastic results, with 42% receiving a Gold award this year (a massive increase from 20% last year).
