If you are a 40% tax rate payer, the Freedom Account is the ideal solution, as it provides all the evidence required for making a claim on monies given to charity against your annual tax return.
1) Quarterly statements are sent to you free of charge to the email address you provided when you set up the account. If you would like to receive hard copy by post, there is a cost of £1.00 per quarter to provide this service. If you would like a hard copy, please email info@myfreedomaccount.org.
2) Your balance can be checked at anytime, visit www.myfreedomaccount.org, log into your account to access this information.
3) Your donation history is available at anytime and provides a list of all of the monies you have donated to the charities you have nominated.
