The Sponsor-me.org has been designed to allow you to concentrate on fundraising for your chosen cause, whilst Charities Trust looks after the administration of your event.
So you've taken the plunge and decided to fundraise for your chosen charity(ies), but you want to concentrate on your fundraising and not the boring administration that goes with it. Don't like the hassle of paying money into your own bank account or even holding on to loose change?
If this is you, Sponsor-me.org will make your fundraising much easier. It is designed to manage the administration of your fundraising efforts, leaving you to do what you do best-cajoling your sponsors and collecting the most money you can for your chosen good causes or charities.
2 Easy Steps to Open your Sponsor-me.org account and create a Fundraising Page:
- Register with a Charities Trust online account by simply clicking on Fundraising Account. Your log in details will then be sent to your email address.
- Sign in to Charities Trust "My Account" page and click onto the Create Fundraising Page, found on the left hand side, under Fundrasing account.
Opening a Fundraising Page could not be easier, as the most accessible route is for online registration which is available day or night.
Why Have Sponsor-me.org?
You do the fundraising - We do the administration
- Whether an individual or team effort, we can provide you with a dedicated web page to display your event details and the charity or good cause you wish to support.
- If you are in a team, you can add the names of all your members and provide the link to family and friends to sponsor you online.
- You get a personalised URL, e.g. www.sponsor-me.org/marathon
- A Sponsor-meter is created for each event, which monitors and displays the amount raised.
- You have the option to choose up to five charities per event and place charities web addresses and logos on the personalised page.
- There is the facility to add information about the event and charity as well as upload photos, corporate logos, charity logos and include hyperlinks to external websites such as Facebook.
- A countdown to the event is displayed on the page.
- Donors can write supportive messages after donating or they can remain anonymous.
- Bank Deposit slips allow cash/cheque donations to be paid direct to your Sponsor-me.org personal fundraising account.
- On completion of the fundraising event, Charities Trust sends the money direct to the charity or provides a cheque for the fundraiser to present to the charity as well as a confirmation letter.
- You get a welcome pack including a sponsorship form, guides and information on how to make the best of your event.
- All available Gift Aid is claimed by Charities Trust and added to the fundraising total on behalf of the charity ensuring they receive the benefits of 25p per £1.
- A small administration charge of 4% for all online and offline donations received.
