Payroll Giving Awards 2010 - Shortlist Announced
Charities Trust is proud to work and support all of our corporate companies and congratulate our clients in being shortlisted in the National Payroll Giving Awards. New online charity calendar to help fundraising efforts
The designers of a unique free online calendar dedicated to charity events is urging all charities, both national and local, to upload details of their events in advance of the website’s launch on 12 May 2010.
Payroll Giving Quality Mark Awards 2010
Launched in January 2006, the Payroll Giving Quality Mark recognises and rewards organisations for making Payroll Giving available to their staff. This year Charities Trust is delighted to see a huge increase in the level of participation with more companies achieving Gold than ever before.
Centre 56 Soars Above the Rest as Cherie Blair is welcomed as their New Patron
An exciting event for Charities Trust and Centre 56 happened last week as fellow Liverpudlian Cherie Blair took on the dizzy heights of the Liverpool Panoramic Restaurant for a glamorous luncheon, courtesy of its owner Mr Hugh Frost. A double celebration occured high above the Liverpool City Skyline, as Cherie joined the Centre as their new Patron along with celebrating it’s soaring success over the past 25 years of helping others.
The Big Give announces first sponsor in £20m challenge
The Big Give has announced an ambitious £20million target for their 2010 Challenge Fund, which offers to double public donations to charities. Founder Alec Reed is inviting fellow philanthropists to join him in creating a catalyst fund to launch the challenge.

St Helens Saints mammoth moment on Friday 19th March with Warrington Wolves was a momentous event as the Cheshire rivals have not had victory over the Saints since 1994. A sell out crowd turned out to the Friday night game as the St Helens club strived to keep the home record!
Time4Women Spring into Action Event
