Do a one off donation to BBC Children in Need through Payroll Giving?

One Off Payroll Giving for BBC Children in Need

Last year a number of Charities Trust's clients took part and raised additional, and immediate, tax effective donations for The BBC Children in Need Appeal. It is never too early to start, as this years event is on Friday 14 November 2008.

The credit crunch hits all parts of the community and none more so than charity.  However, donating through your Payroll allows employees to budget what they can given and what's more tax effectively.

On this page you will find a One Off Payroll Giving tool kit for BBC Children in Need (See File Downloads - left of the screen).  The tool kit contains a letter and form, which can be distributed to employees who wish to make a tax effective donation from their payroll for BBC Children in Need.

Once the employee completes the form, they then return this to the specified department and then your Payroll Dept will deduct the donation in the usual manner, but will only do this once as per the donors instructions.

BBC Children in Need's mission is to positively change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK. Every year, thanks to the public donations and the amazing efforts of fundraisers, schools, businesses and our corporate partners, they are able to provide support to thousands of youngsters aged 18 and under.

In 2007 the appeal raised a staggering £37 million which has gone onto projects across the UK in the form of grants to organisations working with children who have mental, physical or sensory disabilities; behavioral or psychological disorders; are living in poverty or situations of deprivation; or suffering through distress, abuse or neglect.
Your support for BBC Children in Need really does make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. The BBC Children in Need Appeal 2008 is rapidly approaching and they need your help again!
