Amalie does the Liverpool Half Marathon

Yep I am crazily taking part in this year’s Liverpool Half Marathon..... to raise funds for Relative Comfort in memory of Stuart Brock.

Relative Comfort is the new appeal at the Countess of Chester to raise £500,000 to provide relatives rooms and counselling rooms for relatives of patients in the Critical Care Unit. Currently, families and loved ones often have to sleep in the corridor or on a chair next to the bed at what is often a very distressing time.

A close friend of mine lost her husband after a fatal car accident and was forced to wait for news in cramped and run-down facilities.

The money will go towards, providing a comfortable “home from home” environment for relatives that need support when it is needed most.

Please give your support to this fantastic cause. Every donation really helps to make a difference, no matter how small.
