Dear Family, friends and professional contacts (in case you are wondering why you are recipients!) Around 12.30 this Sunday I will be storming... staggering... crawling... being carried by my 17yr old son (only reason I asked him to run) the finish line at the Great North Run - half marathon. Alex, my 8yr old who has Downs Syndrom will be there to cheer me on and we are running to raise heaps of cash for Mencap - a fantastic charity that supports mentally handicapped people and their familiies. Please give generously - I will do the same for you one day.
