Hello Colleagues,
The Property Aggregates Team are competing in the 2009 London Marathon and aim to complete the course in a combined time of less than 13 hours. We really need your support to help us raise as much money as possible for our respective charities. By giving a donation on this page an equal share will go to each cause.
Charities
The team are raising money for three charities, James is running for the Samaritans, Craig for BackCare and Neil for Whizz-Kidz. The charities all support very different causes but do great work and deserve support to allow them to continue helping people. A bit more about each below:
Whizz-Kidz
Whizz-Kidz aims to improve the quality of life of disabled children and young people in the UK through the provision of customised mobility equipment such as wheelchairs and tricycles. It is dedicated to providing help and advice to the children and their families and raising awareness of mobility-related issues through national campaigning.
Samaritans
Samaritans is a confidential emotional support service for anyone in the UK and Ireland. The service is available 24 hours a day for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which may lead to suicide.
BackCare
BackCare is a registered charity (256751) that aims to reduce the burden of back pain by providing information and support, promoting good practice and funding research.
BackCare acts as the hub between patients, (healthcare) professionals, employers, policy makers, researchers and all others with an interest in back pain.
Thanks!
Thank you for taking the time to read more about what we are doing. Please have a look on the Beazley intranet at our blogs where we are detailing the highs and lows of training for your entertainment!
