Hi, Thanks for taking the time to click on the link to see what this crazy task is all about. Firstly before you ask the Edinburgh Marathon is the same distance as any other marathon (that 26.2 miles for those of you who don’t know), which is like running from Christchurch to Southampton via Lyndhurst! So far I have run around 300 miles, which is the equivalent of running from my house in Bournemouth to Kendal in Cumbria!!! I have thought long and hard about whom to raise money for and this is close to my heart. Christchurch Cricket Club is a small club with a huge heart. We have over 120 kids in our club - the majority of which are coached by our players, who offer their time free of charge. So I want to raise money so that we can give them better facilities and equipment to keep them interested. That means kit for those who can't afford it, new all weather surface and covers for grass wickets to name a few projects underway. But I need your support, and yeah we are not a charity but this helps my local community. I want to raise £5,000 - which means that I need 500 people to give me £10. However I don't know 500 people, so I need the 250 people I do know to give me upwards of £20. Thank you so much for your support. And if you donate I will take a picture of my sorry state at the end of the race. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Ben
