Charitie(s) Supported: Help For Heroes,Oxfam - National Plughole Week,
We will be supporting two charities, and any money raised will be split evenly between them. The first is ‘Help for Heroes’ – formed to help those who have been wounded in the current conflicts.
Carl has a brother who served in the army for 6 years and I used to be in the Royal Navy (23 years), so it’s a cause close to both our hearts.
The second charity is 'National Plughole Week 2010'. Working together with Oxfam, National Plughole Week (3rd - 10th July 2010) will be alerting consumers to the benefits of our modern sanitation compared to developing countries, where one-in-eight of the world’s population do not have access to safe water and two million people die every year from water-related diseases. We hope to raise £30,000 so we’ll need your help!
