Believe in Children - Leicester Half Marathon

Hi Everyone.

You will have seen from the headline that there is not long before I try to get round just over 13 miles of Leicester on foot as part of the Leicester Half Marathon in what will hopefully be a reasonable time but at least before they open up the roads to traffic.

I am doing this as part of the Post Office September challenge for Barnados (never been good with dates) and would really appreciate you showing your support with a donation and I know Barnados will as well.

If you don't get chance to donate before the 10th, I have left it late sending this round to ensure I actually made it through the training to run on the day. Then you will still be able to donate after the event and I will send round an email to let you know how I got on anyway.

The update to this is I completed the 1/2 marathon in an unofficial time of 1hr 53 mins 54 secs. The actual time will be updated on the organisers website in the near future but my timing shouldn't be too far away.

It was a very enjoyable morning and once the aches, that have already started, are gone I will start thinking about next years.
