At the beginning of this year, I was lucky enough to meet a really special person who has subsequently become one of my best friends and is really close to my heart. Sarah has been living with follicular hodgkins lymphoma but still continues to be a perfect and caring friend, and is never seen without that gorgeous smile on her face. Sarah has inspired and motivated me to set a personal challenge to myself in order to raise as much money as possible towards the Lymphoma and Leukaemia unit at Singleton Hospital, Swansea, where Sarah is being treated. Despite a ripped peroneal tendon following just a few weeks of training, I am going to run the Swansea bay 10k run on September 26th. For anyone who knows me well... Gemma doesn’t do exercise!! So this really is a massive challenge for me. I am pleading with you to sponsor me in completing the run. Any amount will make a difference to the lives of so many people.
