16 members of Frimley Park Hospital staff are undertaking an extreme sponsored cycle challenge in aid of the stroke unit.
We are cycling the full length of hadrians wall! This is a 174 mile ride from Ravensglass to South Shields, taking 3 days to complete. All of the group are novice cyclists who have never completed anything like this before!
We are trying to raise money for a piece of rehabilitation equipment called a biometric forceplate. The forceplate assesses and monitors changes in weight distribution over multiple therapy sessions. It also provides computerised acitvties for therapeutic weightbearing exercise and rehabilitation. We are aiming to raise £4000 through your generous support of this challenge.
