Kids’ City wants to deliver an affordable, structured and well publicised programme of sports to children across the London boroughs of Lambeth and Wandsworth. We need improve facilities and set up a professional training scheme. The primary objective of the project is to deliver an affordable, structured and well publicised programme of sports to children at 14 primary schools. We want to create a consistent and wider reaching service that targets socially deprived children who would otherwise not have access to sports activities. We also aim to provide volunteering opportunities in sports coaching and leadership to the local community, as well as a formalised programme of mentoring between professional community sports coaches and local volunteers.
