On the 30th August I will begin a 12 day cycle ride from Land's End to John o' Groats. I will be raising money for the Charity for Research into Miscarriage (or Charm), as well as The Prince's Trust.
Charm (http://www.charm-uk.org ) helps couples who are experiencing difficulties in their dream of becoming parents to achieve their goal. They focus on reducing recurrent miscarriage, a distressing problem that affects 1 in 100 women, but their research is also increasing understanding of many other pregnancy disorders.Thanks to the work of Professor Lesley Regan and others at the Recurrent Miscarriage Clinic at St Mary Hospital in London, over a thousand couples every year give birth to healthy live babies who would not otherwise exist. Please help me to raise the money they need to keep the invaluable work of this clinic alive and help many more couples like us experience the joy of parenthood. If it wasn't for them we wouldn't have darling little William in our lives!
In addition I will also collect money for The Prince's Trust, which helps change young lives by developing key skills, confidence and motivation, enabling young people to move into work, education and training. This crucial role is even more important in the current recessionary climate, where rising youth unemployment is a key feature.
All money raised will be split 50:50 between these two charities. Please dig deep and donate now. Thanks for your support Jeff
