My name is Joshua Cox, I am 16 and from Parkstone. Unfortunately my Mum was diagnosed with cervical cancer at the end of 2008 and had to go through major surgery. I didn't get to spend christmas with my Mum, and it was a hard time for the whole of my family. I never knew how much hospitals and cancer charities did until my Mum was diagnosed with cancer, and I really want to raise some money for the Eve Appeal. I have decided that I want to do a skydive, organised through the Eve Appeal to help raise money. This skydive will take place on either the 18th/19th April. Therefore, I need to raise a fair amount of money. I have to send £70 to the organisers of the event by the 20th March, which shouldn't be too difficult, but I then need to raise a minimum of approximately £400 by the date of the dive. This could aim to be quite challenging, and I really want to raise a lot more for the appeal. Through my school, I am running a raffle, and hopefully a fun run to aid in the raising of money, but I really want to find more ways of raising money. It would be great if you guys could sponsor me and help me raise a huge amount of money for the Eve Appeal! Thankyou
