Please sponsor me to finish the London Marathon. I am raising money for CancerCare as they helped me in the past, I may need help from Alzheimer's in the future and the RSPB for nature.

I DID IT - I FINISHED THE LONDON MARATHON!
It was a great day and a fantastic experience, I really enjoyed myself. I took 5hrs 24mins to run the 26.2 miles taking photos and chatting to people on route. Gary was great, rushing from place to place and cheering me on at 7, 12 and 23 miles. The weather was great, sometimes cloudy with a slight breeze, although it did get a bit hot at times. My low point was between 17 and 18 miles when I got severe cramp in my thighs but after stretching and pummelling them it went away and I was able to carry on. I'm still on a high - my blisters are recovering and the soreness from the day after is going - a wonderful day out!
