Run for Moore was established in 2006 in order to help raise funds through a series of 5km races for the Bobby Moore Fund's research into bowel cancer. Bowel cancer, also known as colorectal cancer, can occur anywhere in the colon or rectum. About 80 per cent of bowel cancers occur in the large intestine (colon) and 20 per cent in the rectum. In the UK, bowel cancer is the third most common cancer in men, and the second most common cancer in women. It's the second most common cause of cancer death in the UK, after lung cancer. Please help me raise money for Cancer Research UK's Run for Moore in the bid to combat Bowel Cancer. I am aiming to take part in the 5km run in Bristol in 2009.
