Hi everyone, On the 11th October 2009 I will be taking part in the Birmingham Half Marathon. The money raised will go to: Calvary Miracle Centre, a church in Handsworth Wood, Birmingham, in order to raise much needed funds. Monies raised will help them to continue the great work they are doing in the community helping both men, women, children and young people who are at a disadvantage in society because of their ethnicity, unemployed status, or on low income. Please help them to make a difference. Help Calvary Miracle Centre to put together workshops and projects that will develop, regain confidence and improve their physical, mental and emotional health. Cancer Research UK Cancer Research UK is the largest single funder of cancer research in the UK. Their work has saved millions of lives in the UK and across the world. They spend around £300 million on research every year funding over 4,500 scientists, doctors and nurses.
