Hi! We are going to scale the lofty heights of Mt Snowdon, Ben Nevis and Scafell Peak this year. None of us have ever climbed all 3 and we thought it was a shame to let such beautiful mountains, on our doorstep, go unconquered. To add the essential feel good factor to this little jaunt we're doing it in aid of Ostomy Lifestyle, the UK's national stoma support charity. Ostomy Lifestyle helps people prepare for, and adjust to diversionary surgery on their bowel or bladder (e.g. a colostomy). This increasingly common type of operation can present a range of negative emotions and experiences, but with the right support these can be overcome, allowing people to get back on with enjoying their life.
