Hello. I've been 'lucky' enough to get a place in the 2008 London Marathon where I will be running to raise money for one of my favourite charities, the IFAW Charitable Trust. I'm aiming to raise £1200, so please give generously.
Here's some background information on IFAW...
IFAW Charitable Trust, a sister organisation to the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), was formed in 1993. IFAW Charitable Trust funds research and education projects to save animals around the world. IFAW became known around the world in the 1960s and 1970s as it led the fight to stop the cruel slaughter of Canadian seal pups. Today, with offices in 15 countries, IFAW is the world's leading animal welfare organisation, preserving species and protecting habitat, rescuing animals in distress, and providing them shelter and rehabilitation. Positive results of IFAW's work can be seen on every continent and in more than 60 countries around the world.
