I am attempting my first, and maybe my last, triathlon. It will be at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire on the 9th June 2012. It involves a 750m open water swim, a 20k cycle ride, then finising off with a 5k run. As well as a 400m uphill run in a wetsuit and bare feet to the first transition area.....

I'm raising money for a charity I have supported every month for a few years through Give as you Earn. Amani is a children’s home in Tanzania that rescues and cares for street children and orphans and restores hope in their lives.

Rest assured, all donations will be going to the charity. Any costs, entry fees, equipment etc will not be taken from the donations.
