On March 6th I intend to run 13.1 miles around the city of Bath and the surrounding countryside. Having trained very little I expect this to be a rather painful experience, but it could be much more bearable if I were to receive your sponsorship.
The money raised will go to community development projects in Ghana and Tanzania, via the Bristol based charity African Initiatives. These are small grassroots projects run by local people within their own communities. The projects vary from a women's pastoral organisation to a sustainable agriculture/organic farming association. To reach my fund raising target I am aiming to get 50 sponsors of £5. However, any amount you're able to contribute would be very gratefully received. Thanks, Phil
