Global Brigades is the world’s largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. By far, we have 12,449 passionate volunteers who mobilize toward positive social change and there are 300,000 people from under resourced communities who have benefited from our programme. We are now bringing Global Brigades to SOAS and will go to Ghana for a 10 day Microfinance Brigade in early June 2012. During this unforgettable journey, SOAS Microfinance Team will to help set up Microfinance funds, enhance the financial literacy in the community and facilitate the financial inflows within the community. This is NOT Aid - this is Self Aid: We will help the communities help themselves by giving them theeducational and financial resources they need.
