Hi Everyone!!!!

On Sunday 7th March I will be attempting to run the Bath Half Marathon to raise money for a registered charity called African Initiatives.

This Bristol based charity was first brought to my attention by the better half who started volunteering for them earlier in the year. After hearing all the great work they carry out in Ghana and Tanzania I decided to try to raise money for the cause, by putting myself through considerable pain and discomfort whilst providing maximum humour for all there to watch an apparently fat old man run/crawl 13.1 miles........

And might I add that I have never spent more than 20 mins on a treadmill without walking off due to boredom as well as I will also be setting myself a target time of 2 hours 30 mins (at the moment, possibly to be decreased further depending on how cocky I'm feeling as training progresses) you will see that this is a worthy fundraising event to sponsor.
