On the 28th October 2012, I am running the Preston Guild Marathon, to raise money for Cancer Help.
Cancer Help assists cancer patients, their families and carers to improve their quality of life after being diagnosed with the illness. Emotional, physical and social support is offered through a range of services such as
Holistic Care - Complementary Therapies - Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Reiki - Art Therapy - Counselling - Bereavement Support - Breathlessness Clinic - Lymphoedema Service - Meditation - Relaxation.
For the past 4 years, i have attended Vine House in Preston, advising users of the service with their Welfare Benefits. Attending Vine House on a regular basis and speaking to the service users has given me the opportunity to see first hand the excellent work the staff and volunteers do.
All money raised with go direct to Cancer Help so please dig deep and donate what you can!!!!!!!
