We are climbing the mountains and fording the streams to raise funds for North West Cancer Research Fund (NWCRF) on 17th/18th September. The challenge means climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mount Snowdon all in 24 hours!!
NWCRF provides grants to support fundamental research in the North West of England and North and Mid-Wales, into the causes of cancer and the mechanisms by which cancers arise and exert their effects.
The charity has raised over £28 million for research to date and are very proud of the fact that on average 90p in every pound donated has been put into actual research; over £750,000 a year.
