After being diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia Stephanie passed away on 28th September 2007 aged 22 years. Since losing Stephanie her family and friends have received support from the staff at Leukaemia Research and have learnt from them how vital their research is to finding treatments and cures to all types of blood cancers. Leukaemia Research is at the forefront of the fight against Leukaemia, Hodgkin’s and other lymphomas and myeloma. Over 24,500 people in the UK are diagnosed each year. Anyone at any age can be diagnosed with a blood cancer, but it is the main cause of cancer death in the under 35’s. I hope that you will join me in trying to raise money, to ensure they can continue to work towards improving treatments, finding cures and learning how to prevent these diseases, by making a donation.
