We are the few who are attempting to climb these three peaks, in the name of Ostomy Lifestyle. In January we started our training by climbing Malvern Hills as a nice warm up. We are preparing for second jaunt at the end of February and will continue training till the fateful weekend on the 10th of April.

Ostomy Lifestyle is a national charity that supports people after having stoma surgery. A stoma requires someone to wear a bag on their abdomen to collect bodily waste. There vision is that having a stoma should never be a barrier to leading a full and active life.
36,000 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer10,000 are discovered to have bladder cancer
Nearly 20,000 new cases of Inflammatory Bowel Disease such as Crohn's Disease and ulcerative colitis are identified,
Half of adults over the age 50 have undiagnosed diverticulosis
Hundreds of babies are born with bowel or bladder defects
The surgical treatment of these conditions often requires the formation of a stoma called a colostomy, ileostomy or urostomy.
£900 will pay for a new printer from which fact sheets, news letters etc can be printed in house making it cheaper in the long run.
