The Earl Mountbatten Hospice is the only hospice on the Isle of Wight and cares for over 800 patients facing life-threatening conditions every year.
Each year they run a fund raising event - "Walk the Wight" - 26.5 miles across the island.
In 2009 a record number, between 9,000 and 9,500 people, supported by another 1500 friends and family, walked for the Hospice and raised an amazing £387,000.
Anita and David are planning to do the full 26 Miles. Johanna and Isaac will do the first half... This is our first "walk the Wight", please give whatever you can – it will all add up...!
