The Second World War Experience Centre (registered charity No. 1072965) collects and preserves the surviving testimony of people who lived through the Second World War. We have an international collection of tape recordings, love letters, diaries, photographs and other wartime memorabilia, which documents the experiences of 8,000 individuals. We also work with schools to ensure that the bravery and sacrifice of this period is not forgotten. We are engaged in a battle against time; to capture people’s memories before those who remember the war have died and their stories are lost forever. Please help us by sponsoring Chris.
